Lahore – The Pakistan Cricket Board PCB has finalized the Pakistani team for the T20I World Cup which will take place in the US and the Caribbean the following month.
Babar Azam will captain the 15-member squad which consists of three batters who keep wickets according to media reports. After healing from his injuries pacer Haris Rauf has returned to action.

Following the first Twenty20 International match against England on May 22, the PCB will formally name the team. The deadline for revealing the World Cup squad has been set by the International Cricket Council (ICC) at May 25.

Pakistan is in Group A with the USA, Canada, Ireland, India, and their fierce rivals. On May 6, the Green Shirts will play their first World Cup matchup against the USA. On June 9, Pakistan and India will play the much-awaited match. Pakistan’s next games are scheduled for June 11 versus Canada and June 16 against Ireland.
