The Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT), which is required for undergraduate admission to universities across Pakistan, will be administered by the Higher Education Commission, often known as the Education Testing Council (ETC).
The USAT covers every known undergraduate entry-level subject in engineering, medicine, information technology, management, and social sciences. It is based on the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) structure. Students who pass the USAT are eligible for admission to all universities, just like they are for the SAT.

- 75 MCQs, 100 minutes.
- Verbal reasoning: 35 questions.
- Quantitative reasoning: 40 questions.

- 40 minutes.
- Essay writing skills (400-500 words): 25 marks.

- Any score equal to or above 50 considered as a qualifying USAT score.
