As part of an academic-industry co-opt program, HEC has scheduled a centralized exam to place talented IT students in the business. All seventh-semester students enrolled in HEC-recognized colleges are eligible to take the test for free. The test will be administered via the virtual university on January 7, 2024.
This is a part of a co-opt program between academia and business to help place bright IT students in the sector so they may gain practical experience with the newest technology and improve their chances of finding employment both domestically and abroad.
Introduction:
A Centralized Test 2024 for students in the seventh semester of computer science and related disciplines is being administered by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) via the Virtual University Platform in partnership with the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), Ministry of IT & Telecom (MoITT), Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), Pakistan IT Industry Association (P@SHA), and National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC).
Eligibility Criteria:
- 7th Semester BS/BE Computing or related fields.
- Currently, enrolled students.

- Verification of registration information by each university’s relevant Focal Person. (via the Focal Person)
- The eligible candidates will receive instructions about the confirmation and test from Virtual University.
