Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is scheduled to resume its flights to Paris next month and to the UK on August 14, marking the end of a four-year gap. This is great news for Pakistanis living in the UK and throughout Europe.
The European Aviation Safety Agency EASA is likely to approve the airline in stages throughout the current month according to PIA spokesperson Abdullah Hafeez.

Hafeez said that PIA will set up the resumption of flight operations in Paris after receiving consent from the Agency. The direct trip to London is scheduled to begin on August 14,” he stated. In addition, he stated that the airline is accelerating 777 aircraft repairs in preparation for the flight resume.
Hafeez claims that PIA now has seven 777 aircraft in service and that two more are scheduled to go into service in the next two months.
A PIA general manager, meanwhile, declared that the airline will consciously enhance its flight operations to Europe now that it has nine 777 aircraft in service. Hafeez further underlined that Pakistan now has agreements in place for air services with 97 nations.
It’s important to note that direct flights to the UK were canceled in 2020 from Pakistan.
