Pakistan Knitwear Training Institute Lahore (PKTI) Overview:

Pakistan Knitwear Training Institute is a public-private cooperation between the Ministry of Textile Industry, Government of Pakistan, and business community to train knitwear garment workers.

Since 1994, PKTI has taught all knitwear garment production skills. A high number of its female trainees are succeeding in various knitwear garments sectors. PKTI has a furnished building and can train at least 250 trainees at a time at low cost, or 750 by conducting numerous shifts. The industry-focused courses are offered in its well-equipped sewing, knitting, dyeing, and computer labs.

The knitwear garment sector has grown to fulfill local and global demand. This product generates foreign exchange, mass employment, and a substantial GDP contribution.
