Lahore – To travel for work in UK, USA, Canada, Sweden, Australia, or other Western countries Pakistani nationals need to obtain the National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP).
The National Database and Registration Authority NADRA is the appropriate body to grant Pakistani nationals the NICOP.
If a Pakistani citizen holds dual nationality they can apply for the necessary papers for the other country and visit Pakistan without a visa. The smart NICOP can only be obtained with the passport number.
The nations of the world have been split into two groups by NADRA: Zone A and Zone B. Additionally, the fee schedules for the two zones differ. Zone A includes Australia, the United States of America, Denmark, Sweden, and France, among other nations.
Nadra NICOP Executive, Normal, and Urgent Fee for Zone A:
There will be no modifications to the online NICOP cost structure for Zone A countries as of July 2024. For a new Smart NICOP, the standard charge is $39; the urgent fee is $57; and the executive fee is $75.
For countries in Zone A, the standard charge for a new NICOP is Rs. 11,340; the urgent fee is Rs. 16,589; and the executive fee is Rs. 21,820.
