Islamabad! In the ToshaKhana Case, Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and his wife, Bushra Bibi, have been convicted to 14 years in prison.
During the accountability court trial, Judge Muhammad Bashir delivered the verdict in the absence of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi. Sardar Mazhar Abbas, Deputy Prosecutor General of the National Accountability Bureau, appeared in court alongside the team.
Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi have been penalized a total of Rs. 1,574 million, with each facing a Rs. 787 million fine.
The PTI founder has been deemed ineligible for ten years, and both have been prohibited from holding public office for ten years.
The judge directed him to deliver his statement in court; we must proceed with the case. Imran Khan asked, “What’s the hurry? The Islamabad High Court has denied our refusal request. “The Assistant Superintendent has asked me to appear.”

The PTI founder departed the courtroom, saying that the Islamabad High Court had denied our recusal appeal, and that the Assistant Superintendent had called me to the court to present attendance.
The Assistant Superintendent of Jail informed the court that Imran Khan was not prepared to appear in court, prompting the court to call Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi’s names. Despite repeated calls, Imran Khan did not appear in court.
Former Prime Minister Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi were not in court when the ruling was made. Following the judgment, Bushra Bibi went to Adiala Jail to present herself, and she was arrested. Bushra Bibi and the PTI founder would be restricted in separate jails.
It should be mentioned that the accountability court convicted PTI founder and Shah Mahmood Qureshi to ten years in prison for the Cipher case yesterday.
