Pakistan Election 2024 | Major shock in Lahore: Saad Rafique lost to Latif Khosa

Sardar Latif Khosa caused a major upset by defeating Pakistan Muslim League-N’s Khawaja Saad Rafique in National Assembly seat NA-122 from Lahore.

Sardar Latif Khosa, an independent candidate supported by the PTI, became victorious in the NA-122 seat, as per the unofficial results. Khawaja Saad Rafiq received 77 thousand 709 votes, while the independent candidate received one lakh seventeen thousand 109. Sardar Latif Khosa and Khawaja Saad Rafiq differ in the electoral count by 39,400 votes.

Sardar Latif Khosa, the opposition candidate, was congratulated by Khawaja Saad Rafiq on his victory on the social networking site “X” and informed that he had voluntarily submitted to the public’s decision.

He said in his letter, “May Allah Kareem grant strength to the upcoming Parliament to unite and overcome the national crisis.”It should be mentioned that on February 8, 2024, the nation held general elections, the results of which are still being announced.
