The weather department forecasts the expected return of Rain and Snow in coming days. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a forecast indicating that a westerly wave is likely to impact the northern regions of the country on February 26th, with its effects anticipated to reach Balochistan by the night of the 25th.
In the Balochistan’s weather forecasts; Chaghi, Noushki, Kharan, Panjgur, Gwadar, Awaran, Khuzdar, Kalat, Lasbella, Sibbi, Quetta, Ziarat, Chaman, Pishin, Qila Abdullah, Qila Saifullah, Zhob, Sherani, Barkhan, Musakhel, and Kohlu, meteorologists are predicting rain, accompanied by gusty winds and thunderstorms (with potential snowfall over higher elevations), on the February 25th (night) and 26th. These weather conditions are expected to bring a few instances of heavy precipitation to the region.

Intermittent rain, strong winds, and thunderstorms with the potential for snowstorms in hilly areas are expected across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from the night of February 25th to the day of February 27th. These areas include Khyber, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Kohistan, Chitral, Buner, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Swabi, Mardan, Charsadda, Nowshera, Peshawar, Mohmand, Bajaur, Kurram, Kohat, Bannu, and Waziristan. Additionally, occasional hailstorms may occur during this time period.
Rain, wind, and thunderstorms are expected in Gilgit-Baltistan, including Diamir, Astore, Ghizer, Skardu, Hunza, Gilgit, Ghanche, and Shigar, as well as in Kashmir, including Neelum Valley, Muzaffarabad, Poonch, Hattian, Bagh, Haveli, Sudhanoti, Kotli, Bhimber, and Mirpur. This weather pattern is likely to last from the night of February 25th to February 27th, with sporadic pauses in between. Additionally, occasional hailstorms may occur during this time.
Light to moderate rain, wind, and thunderstorms are expected in Murree, Galliyat, Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mianwali, Khushab, Sargodha, Bhakkar, Layyah, and Dera Ghazi Khan on the evening and night of February 26th, lasting into the next day i.e. 27th Feb. Similar to the northern regions, occasional with rain and snow, hailstorms may also occur.
