This fully needs-based scholarship is open to Pakistani students who cannot afford their education at a higher level. We obtained the Punjab Workers Welfare Fund (PWWF) COMSATS Scholarship 2024 Advertisement from the Daily Express Newspaper.
Fully needs-based scholarships for all degree programs at COMSATS Lahore, Islamabad Campus, and other campuses under the Punjab Workers’ Welfare Fund (PWWF) are available to laborers, miners, and/or their children through the Punjab Workers’ Welfare Board (PWWB). A 30% quota has been set aside by COMSATS for workers and/or their dependents in all single-degree programs.
The Islamabad campus’s application deadline for the COMSATS worker welfare fund scholarships is December 20, 2023; the Lahore campus’s deadline is December 29. There are spaces available in Islamabad, Lahore, Attock, Wah, Sahiwal, and Vehari Campus for Labor Quota admission on scholarships.
The PWWB Quota students’ entire cost of attendance is to be covered by the Punjab government’s Labor Department. The PWWF Scholarship provides coverage for Tuition fee, Hostel fee, and Transportation cost.

- The worker must be registered under the Industrial Relations Act, 2010.
- The worker must have a valid social security card.
- The worker must have a minimum work experience of 1 year in a registered factory or mine.
- The worker’s child must not have been involved in any illegal activity or criminal proceedings.
- Children of deceased or disabled workers are also eligible to apply, provided that the worker was registered under the EOBI/Social Security and his widow/legal heir received a Death Grant from the Punjab Workers’ Welfare Board or receives a pension from the EOBI/Social Security.
