Punjab Govt Relief Driving License Process for Students

LAHORE: Police in Lahore and other Punjab cities began a tremendous crackdown on drivers without licenses, which resulted in a massive influx into traffic centers. Meanwhile, the administration shocked the public by issuing many new licenses.

Mohsin Naqvi, the nation’s interior minister, provided a fresh update for students and senior citizens as they waited for some respite.

Senior citizens will be able to obtain driving licenses in the comfort of their own homes on the minister’s directives. At the same time, students will be able to use the service at their colleges or universities.

In a related move, Naqvi unveiled three mobile traffic vans to help residents renew their licenses at the Islamabad Traffic Police Mobile Facilitation and Education Service launch.

The new locations for license issues will educate the public, especially in institutions and on the roadways. During the event, he also revealed intentions to guarantee that students can receive licenses at educational institutions, such as colleges and universities, and to offer driving license services to senior residents at home.

In response to requests from Pakistanis living abroad, the province government of KP launched an online driving license renewal service in March.
