In today’s PSL 2024 match, Mir Hamza had a great day with bowl for KK against PZ. There was really little debate about the result of the game, thanks to Kieron Pollard’s outstanding effort. Using his competitive batting fashion, he ruthlessly brushed off Waqar Salamkheil for 27 runs inside the 15th over, clearly ending any risk of a comeback for the competition. Pollard’s dominant performance stole the display, whilst players like Vince, Malik, and Akhlaq gave durable performances for the Peshawar Zalmi. Peshawar’s hopes of defending such a big total rested largely on their ability to take wickets consistently, but sadly, their bowling attack was unable to have much of an impact.

Mohammad Zeeshan had a difficult day as one of the bowlers, giving up a lot of runs in his period. Peshawar’s problems were made worse by Pollard’s destroying attack on Salamkheil towards the conclusion of the game. However, in the thick of the struggle, Luke Wood stood out for Peshawar, taking 2 significant wickets at a cost-effective bowling rate. Although their best efforts, Peshawar’s earlier-game aim, which was mostly dependent on Babar Azam’s innings, was eventually too little to pose a threat to the other side, losing by an important number of 20–30 runs.
