Petrol Prices in Pakistan likely to Drop from November 1 for Two Weeks

As per the decline in global oil prices, diesel and petrol prices in Pakistan are expected to go down further from November 1, 2024 for first two weeks of November.

Global petrol prices have dropped by $1.5 and $2.5 per barrel during the last 15 days, respectively.

The government is likely to help the populace by lowering the price of gasoline and HSD by Rs. and Rs. 2.30 per liter, respectively, in light of the present exchange rate and tax rates.

While the price of HSD dropped by $2.5 to $84 per barrel on the worldwide market, the price of gasoline dropped from $77.5 to $76 per barrel.

While the price of gasoline stayed at Rs247.03 until the end of the current month, the price of diesel was raised by Rs5 on October 15.

Kerosene oil and light diesel costs are likewise constant.

It was previously reported that the Pakistani federal government was considering raising the oil companies’ profit margin to Rs9.22 per litre by Rs1.35. The suggested rise for gas merchants was Rs1.40, increasing their profit margin to Rs10.04 per litre.
