Islamabad: Pakistan’s favorable mosquito breeding conditions have prompted the issuance of a dengue notice.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) stated in the dengue advisory on Tuesday that the prevailing atmospheric factors are favoring a conducive environment for dengue.

According to the current weather, the seasonal prediction for the future and the trends of atmospheric variables, dengue incidences are predicted to decrease in November.
Nonetheless, the dengue notice states that “the next two weeks are still crucial, as the prevailing atmospheric factors are favoring the conducive environment for dengue.”
To address the current dengue situation in Pakistan, the PMD has called on all parties involved to take preventative action.
The advisory states that national health agencies and dengue control centers should visit the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) website at http://www.pmd.gov.pk to stay informed about the most recent developments.
