The Pakistan Army has introduced the net registration for Pak Army PMA Long Course 154, inviting aspiring applicants to sign up for as commissioned officers in 2024. Online Registration for PMA Long Course 154 begins on March 25, 2024. Interested candidates to Join the Pak Army to apply online with the aid of May 25, 2024. Registration for PMA Long Course 154 may be made online and by traveling to the Pak Army Registration facilities.
Two-year training programs will be offered to the selected candidates to join the Army as commissioned officers. The Unmarried Male citizens of Pakistan and domicile holders of AJK and Gilgit Baltistan can apply. Dual Nationality holders can also apply. After final selection, candidates with dual nationality will have to give up nationalities other than Pakistani.

Nationality: Citizens of Pakistan and those who call Gilgit-Baltistan/Azad Kashmir residence. Candidates holding dual nationality, green cards, or iqama will have to give up their non-Pakistani nationality upon final selection.
Eligibility Criteria for Pak Army 154 PMA Long Course:
- Education Eligibility:
- Intermediate or equivalent: Minimum 55% marks in FA/FSc or equivalent.
- Graduates (2 years graduation): 60% marks or above in BA/BSc/BBA/BPA with 50% marks in FA/FSc.
- Graduates with 4 years graduation programme (BS/BA-(Hon)/BBA/BPA): No age relaxation.
- Serving Army Soldiers: 50% marks in FA/FSc or equivalent.
- Age Criteria:
- Intermediate or equivalent: 17-22 years as of 1st Nov 2024.
- Graduates (2 years graduation) and Serving Pakistan Navy/Pakistan Air Force Personnel: 17-23 years as of 1st Nov 2024.
- Graduates with 4 years graduation programme (BS/BA-(Hon)/BBA/BPA): 17-24 years as of 1st Nov 2024.
- Serving Army Soldiers: 17-25 years as of 1st Nov 2024.
- Age Relaxation:
- Relaxable for three months for both upper and lower limits for Intermediate or equivalent and Graduates (2 years graduation) and Serving Pakistan Navy/Pakistan Air Force Personnels.
- Academic Prerequisites:
- Candidates who have 60% marks or above in BA/BSc/BA/BSc (Hons) and BBA/BPA, with 50% marks in FA/FSc are acceptable for Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Long Course.
- Hope Certificate required for candidates promoted in FSC Part-I and Advance Subsidiary Examination 2023.
- For applicants who were not given certificates or who had duplicate or updated mark sheets or certificates, it is necessary to verify the mark sheet or certificate.
- IBCC-calculated “A” level applicants who apply in Pakistan and have an overall grade point average of 60% are qualified without requesting an equivalency certificate.

- Applicant twice rejected by Inter Service Selection Board (ISSB).
- Thrice failure in Initial Tests (Intelligence/Academic) for future PMA Long Course.
- Tested within 4 months (120 days) gap of the previous ISSB appearance without waiver.
- Dismissed/removed/debarred from Government Service including Armed Forces.
- Verified in a Court of Law for any disgusting offence.
- Evaluation Medical Board (AMB) declared permanently UNFIT.
- Declared to be medically incompetent because of hepatitis B and C.
- Withdrawn from any associated Armed Forces college/institution on disciplinary grounds.
- Tempering of academic certificates/forgery/concealment.
- Candidates declared with Positive Drug Test.
- Coaching on ISSB Tests renders the candidate ineligible.

Registration and Preliminary Selection Procedure:

- Candidates can register through the Internet or by visiting Army Selection and Recruitment Centres (AS&RCs).
- Registration through Internet requires candidates to register on www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk.
- Written/Intelligence tests include English, Maths, Pak Studies, Islamiat, and General Knowledge.
- Successful candidates undergo physical/medical tests and interviews at AS&RCs.
- Preliminary Selection:
- Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB) module-based selection process.
- Includes written/intelligence tests, medical examination, physical test, and interview by Selection and Recruitment Officer (S&RO).
- Physical Tests Criteria:
- 1.6 Km Run: 8 minutes
- Push Ups: 15 repetitions in 2 minutes
- Crunches: 20 repetitions in 2 minutes
- Pull Ups: 3 repetitions in 2 minutes
- Give up Crossing: 7.4” x 7.4” and 4′ deep
- Interview:
- Conducted by S&ROs and Psychologist.
- Candidates required to write a 10-line essay in English and Urdu before the interview.
- Evaluation based on various aspects including expression, knowledge about current affairs, and extracurricular activities.
- Recording of interviews through CCTV to be ensured by all AS and RCs.

- AS&RCs fill in all required entries (Physical Test & Interview marks) in the module.
- Nomination for Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB) done by Personal Administration Directorate through merit.

- Final selection made at General Headquarters based on candidate’s performance.
