After won the toss and choose to bat first in the game, Lahore Qalandars scored 166 runs at a lost of 5 wickets. In response, the Multan Sultans proceeded their chase with ease and effectiveness. They easily reached the goal in just 19 overs, losing only 5 wickets in the process.
The Sultans’ patient batting effort gave them a comfortable win and demonstrated their courage and determination throughout the competition.
The Lahore Qalandars bowlers had a good start, taking 2 wickets quickly, but they lost a lot of ground because they could not sustain pressure throughout the play. The Multan Sultans’ innings were held together by Muhammad Rizwan’s strong batting, which provided significant challenges to the Qalandars’ chances.
With Rizwan out of the picture, Lahore appeared to be gathering steam, but Iftikhar Ahmed proved to be Multan’s hero, smashing any hopes with a blistering 34 off only 11 balls.

But Iftikhar’s brilliant last over, which included 5 boundaries and 2 sixes in a rapid-fire 34 not out. It guaranteed Multan’s victory and compounded Lahore’s despair in trying to control their totals.
