The Samsung Galaxy A06 seems very similar to the old A05. They share the same chipset and specs, as reported by Geekbench. Now, it’s reported that their designs are also identical. So, is the Galaxy A06 an upgrade? Here’s what you need to know.
On Twitter/X, Evan Blass shared some excellent renders and revealed the upcoming Galaxy A06’s design. Everything appears to be the same, even the colour scheme. To the naked eye, nothing appears to have changed other than the slightly larger camera modules.

Like the previous A05, the Galaxy A06 will be sold in silver and black colours. For the A06, we even get the pinstripe texture that we saw in the sequel. Renders from July that were leaked showed off this phone in black. That could also be a possibility.
Previous Geekbench results indicated the features of Samsung’s future mobile device. It appears that this phone still uses the same Helio G85 processor. It has eight cores, operates at 2.0GHz, and only supports 4G connectivity. The model used as a benchmark was a 4GB Galaxy A06.
We’re still really hopeful that there will be a 6GB RAM option. Since it is a 2024 device, Android 14 x OneUI 6 is loaded by default. A 6.7″ IPS display with HD+ quality, a 5000mAh battery powering the hardware, and possibly up to 15W charging speed are also to be anticipated.
