To issue or renew ID cards, one must approach the National Database Registration Authority (Nadra). To apply for the renewal of their identity card, candidates can use the PAK ID app or visit any local Nadra office.

Smart ID Card Renewal Fee May 2024:
The cost structure for renewing a Smart National Identity Card (SNIC) is set to remain the same as of May 2024. Smart NICs are normally available for Rs750; urgent fees are Rs1,500; and executive fees for services related to service renewal are Rs2,500.
