Eligibility Criteria of KSEW Scholarships 2024:
Age Requirement:
- Candidates must be under 26.
Qualification:
- The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering.
- The Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the pertinent fields needs to be accredited by PEC/HEC, if applicable.
- Possess a minimum CGPA of 2.0 out of 4.0 or 55% of the possible points after completing sixteen years of schooling or its equivalent, or four years of post-HSSC/A-Level education in the relevant field (percentage taken into consideration if CGPA is not stated).
Application Process for Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works KSEW Scholarships 2024:
To apply, applicants should take the following actions:
- Apply online to register for admission to NUST.
- As directed by the NUST website, register for and show up for the GRE, GAT, and HAT exams https://nust.edu.pk/admissions/ masters/dates-to-remember
- Await NUST’s shortlisting according to the qualifying requirements.
- KSEW will invite the shortlisted candidates for an interview.
Terms and Conditions:
- KSEW Scholarships cover tuition, admission fees, security deposits, hostel expenses (if applicable), and health insurance for the MS in Naval Architecture program.
- Recipients receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 25,000/-.
- Upon MS program completion, scholars must serve at Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Ltd. for a minimum of eight years.
- Poor performance results in scholarship withdrawal; recipients may owe up to Rs. 1.5 million.
- It could be required to get an NOC from the present employer.
- Shortlisted candidates must submit their results before the final interview.
- TA/DA is not provided during the application process.
