When Kate and William participated in a special BBC broadcast called A Berry Royal Christmas in 2019 with baking expert Mary Berry, Kate explained her endearing habit.
There, she told Mary that she loved baking and that she really enjoyed making cakes for her children’s birthdays. “I stay up until midnight with ridiculous amounts of cake mix and icing, and I make far too much,” she said. It had almost become second nature. But I love it.”
