Karachi Shipyard Engineering MS Scholarships 2023 are now available. These scholarships are offered in collaboration with Works Limited and NUST Karachi, aiming to support students pursuing Masters in Naval Architecture.
Limited funds are allocated for these scholarships, so eligible candidates are encouraged to apply soon. Karachi Shipyard and Engineering would pay tuition, entrance, security deposit, and accommodation. Selected candidates would receive a PKR 25000/month stipend.
The selected candidates must work for Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works for eight years after graduating.
GAT is recommended for interested candidates as per NUST’s schedule. Candidates should apply to NUST Karachi. Shortlisted candidates by NUST will be interviewed at Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works Limited. Karachi Shipyard and Engineering will finalize the selection process.
Eligibility Criteria For Karachi Shipyard Engineering MS Scholarships 2023:
- Maximum Age Limit: 26 years
- BE in Naval Architecture / Marine / Mechanical / Mechanical and Manufacturing / Automotive / Industrial and Manufacturing
- 16 years of education or four years of relevant education after HSSC/A-level
- Minimum 60% marks or CGPA above 2.5 out of 4.0.
- c. GAT (General) conducted on or after May 01, 2021, until June 2023 by NTS, or HAT conducted by HEC on or after May 2022 until June 2023, with a minimum accumulative test score of at least 50, or GRE (General) conducted by ETS, USA, with the following minimum scores achieved separately in each section:
- Detail:
- Quantitative: 151/170
- Verbal: 146/170
- Analytical Writing number: 3.5/6.0
Terms and Conditions:
- Selected candidates will receive a scholarship covering tuition fees, admission processing fee, security deposit, and hostel fee (if applicable) for the MS (Naval Architecture) program, along with a monthly stipend of Rs. 25,000/-.
All additional expenses will be the responsibility of the individual. - Scholarship recipients must commit to serving at Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Ltd for at least eight years after completing the MS program.
- If a selected individual’s performance during the MS program is unsatisfactory, the scholarship will be withdrawn, and the individual will need to repay incurred expenses and overheads (not exceeding Rs. 3.0 Million).
- If you are already employed in this, a No Objection Certificate (NOC) will be required from the current employer.
- Travel Allowance (TA) or Daily Allowance (DA) will not be provided in funds.
