A new Solar Hybrid AC from Chinese home appliance manufacturer Haier offers to use no electricity all over the day. The new Solar Hybrid AC may as its name suggests be connected directly to either your standard electrical grid or a system of solar panels.
This 1.5-ton air conditioner uses up to 70% less electricity and offers both heating and cooling. It will not raise your daily electricity bill because it can run entirely on solar power. Supported by the Solar Hybrid air conditioner (available in local Haier stores at about Rs. 228,000) solar panels come at an additional expense.
