Eligibility Criteria for FLTA Program 2025:
- Possess a current Pakistani passport and be a citizen of Pakistan.
- Must be employed as an English language teacher in Pakistan at a college or university.
- Teachers with 1 to 8 years of experience who are just starting out in their professions are given preference.
- A minimum of 16 years of formal education are required, which can be completed in 4 years as a Bachelor’s degree or in a combination of Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.
Ineligibility:
- Dual nationality between the United States and Pakistan or having direct family members who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States (spouse, parent, or child over 18).
- Employees or contractors of USAID, the U.S. Department of State, or the Fulbright program, as well as members of their immediate families.
- Graduates of the Humphrey and Fulbright program.
- Those who are currently enrolled in school in the US or who are in any country with a work or residency visa.

- By Wednesday, April 3, 2024, submit a complete application package online to USEFP.
- Make sure the application package has reference letters and certificates from the schools graduated from.
- At any point during the program, copying, false publishing, or inaccurate information will result in disqualification.
- FLTA especially invite applications from candidates with different backgrounds and/or from communities that are disadvantaged.
