Lahore – The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) will start collecting taxes from traders in the Tajir Dost Scheme on July 1, 2024.

Currently, traders around the country are being registered as part of this campaign.
Notifypakistan was informed by FBR sources that 39,134 traders had registered for the new function thus far. 36,122 of these traders are from the following six major cities: Peshawar, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Karachi, and Lahore.
With 15,057 traders registered, Lahore has the highest registration rate. There are 3,400 registered traders in Islamabad, 3,452 in Peshawar, 6,562 in Karachi, and 5,479 in Rawalpindi. 2,172 retailers in Quetta have signed up for the Tajir Dost program.
Furthermore, reports stated that 3,120 traders from smaller towns have also registered.
