Dasu Hydropower Project Overview:

The project location is situated in District Kohistan (Upper) of the Province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), approximately 7 km upstream of the Dasu Bridge close to Dasu town.

The Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA), a division of the Pakistani Ministry of Water and Power, is set to build the run-of-the-river hydroelectric power project on the Indus River. The Project area is located in a hilly terrain and is reachable from Islamabad via Abbottabad and the Karakorum Highway (KKH) and Motorway/G.T Road.
