Eligibility Criteria for Scholarships:

Nationality: You must be a Pakistani or AJ&K national and live permanently in Pakistan or AJ&K. Dual nationals can’t apply.


For Master’s Scholarship: You need a first division in your 16-year Bachelors or Master’s degree in the relevant field.
For PhD Scholarship: You need a first division in your 17/18-year Masters/MS/MPhil degree in the relevant field.
You can’t have a Second/Third division in your last degree, but applicants awaiting results can apply.
HAT Test: All applicants must provide an HAT test score. You need a minimum score of 60 out of 100 in the HAT test.

Merit: Your selection will mainly depend on your HAT test score.

Study Start Date: You must be ready to begin your studies in the UK by the start of the academic year in September 2024.

Second Master’s: Normally, CSC doesn’t fund a second UK Master’s degree. If you’re applying for a second one, explain why.

Applying Procedure:

Step 1 (Commonwealth Online Application):

  1. Apply online using the CSC’s website.
  2. Use the online application system provided by CSC.

  4. They must submit applications online before the closing date.

Step 2 (HEC Online Application):

  1. Apply online on the HEC website:

  3. After you finish filling out your profile, choose “Learning Opportunities Abroad.”
  4. After submission, print the application and sign it.
  5. The HEC online application portal closes on October 17, 2023, at 04:00 PM Pakistan Time.
  6. Update your HEC profile with the latest contact information.

  • You must submit both the Commonwealth Application form and the online HEC form. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
