Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif announced an Eid gift for province-wide college students as part of the Chief Minister’s Youth Initiative. This initiative called the Chief Minister’s Youth Initiative aims to transform travel for more than eight lakh students.
Two phases will see the distribution of 20,000 E-Bikes and motorbikes under this scheme. According to the population of each district, 19,000 gas-powered motorcycles will be distributed to students in the first phase. The 1,000 E-Bikes will be given to students in 5 major cities Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, Rawalpindi and Lahore during the second phase.
There are several requirements that students must fulfill to be eligible for this amazing opportunity. They need to be older than 18 years old, studying full time in graduate programs at government or private universities and possession of a motorcycle driving learner permit.
