The Computerized National identifying Card (CNIC) is a key identifying document issued by the National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) to Pakistani citizens.
Name, date of birth, and mailing address are among the details on the card, and the NADRA database also provides the citizen’s marital status.

The applicant must provide Nadra with proper information when submitting an ID card application.
After getting married, citizens are required to get their marital status change in their NADRA record because it provides them with certain benefits.
After changing the marriage status, the applicant will be able to get the B-Form of children and the computerized marriage certificate.
Men are eligible to apply for a change in their marital status.
Documents Required for CNIC Marital Status Change:
- Nikhahnama, or a copy of Marriage Certificate
- Spouse CNIC Copy
Fee for Nadra CNIC Marital Status Update:
Since the marital status update is an unprintable change, the NADRA fee is Rs 100.
The modification request may be denied by NADRA if it is unhappy with the applicant’s information.
