Karachi — Fatima Sana, the Pakistan women’s cricket captain, suffered a heartbreaking loss on Thursday when her father died.
Fatima, who was in Dubai leading the national team in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, instantly took a flight to Karachi after hearing of her father’s sudden passing.

The entire squad feels sorrow over the loss of Fatima Sana’s father.
Fatima received heartfelt condolences from the women’s cricket team and its management who also pledged their unwavering support during this trying period. As a show of support for their captain during her loss teammates posted consoling words on social media.
Along with getting preparations for their play against Australia tomorrow the Pakistan Women’s Team is also getting ready for their last group stage encounter, which will take place at Dubai Stadium on October 14, against New Zealand.
