Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has declared early summer vacations for all private and public schools in light of the current heat wave. The holidays will start on May 25 and last until May 31.

Rana Sikandar Hayat highlighted in a video message the significance of putting students’ health and safety first during the current heat wave. Additionally, he noted that 96% of parents supported beginning summer vacation this week.
Our student’s well-being and health come first. It is imperative to take measures to safeguard their safety given the severe temperatures,” he said.
Exam-taking schools have been given conditional permission to stay open for exams as long as they take the required safety measures.
