LAHORE – Pakistani citizens need to renew their Smart National Identity Cards either well in advance of the expiration date or right away following it to access government and other services.
The National Database Registration Authority (Nadra) is the proper organization to issue or renew ID cards, which are necessary for several everyday transactions including opening a bank account, purchasing a home, making an investment, or getting a job.

If a Pakistani person does not have an ID card, they are not allowed to apply for jobs or even use these services.
Throughout the nation, the unique 13-digit identifying number is well-known. It is the first necessity for people since obtaining certain documents such as a license, NTN, bank account, passport, and mobile phone is required.
May 2024 Smart NIC Renewal Fee Update:
There will be no changes to the Smart National Identity Card (SNIC) pricing schedule as of May 2024. The standard cost of a Smart NIC is Rs 750 the urgent and executive fees for renewal services are Rs 1,500 and Rs 2,500, respectively.
The ID card has a ten-year validity period when it is issued. The timeline for the Normal, Urgent, and Executive categories will begin once the case has been approved. The fees shown above do not include delivery costs.
