According to the FBR General Order, those mentioned people’s mobile SIM cards will be prohibited until they are unblocked by FBR or the Commissioner of Inland Revenue, which has authority over them.
The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and all telecom operators are required to ensure that this ITGO is adhered to immediately.
The judgment also specified that by May 15, 2024, the compliance report in this regard must be positively delivered to FBR.
To get their mobile phone services restored by the ITGO, FBR asked people to immediately take care of their tax obligations and file their income tax returns for Tax Year 2023 by providing accurate declarations in a post on X.
