The Chief Minister of Punjab has initiated a significant Skill Development Program for three months. This program aims to provide free constitutional courses along with international certification to 1,200 young people of Punjab ensuring the provision of modern IT skills.

The program targets 2,600 institutions for male participants and 1,400 institutions for female participants. Both offline and online classes are available and interested individuals can apply through the given portal earlier than the closing date of 3 May 2024. Classes will start on 13 May 2024.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must be residents of Punjab.
- For Graphic Design/UT-UX Design course: Intermediate level of DAE CIT ICS Computer Certificate is required.
- For Cloud Computing course: At least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent qualification is necessary.
- For Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning courses: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent qualification, along with at least an intermediate level of DAE CIT ACS Computer Certificate, is required.
- Game Development: Requires at least a BS in computer science or engineering, or BS (Hons), with proficiency in programming
- Cyber Security: Minimum BS or BS (Hons) in Computer Science / Engineering
- Data Analytics: Minimum DAE CIT/ICS/Intermediate with computer certificate

- Classes are scheduled to start on May 13, 2024.
