The Breaking News about the iPhone 15 Exclusive Deal, offering a rare discount on Apple iPhone 15 for a limited time offer, in response to mounting competition in the largest smartphone market in the world. Apple is giving unusual discounts on its iPhones in China, slashing retail prices by as much as 500 Yuan ($70).
US tech giant’s Chinese website displayed a 5% price reduction on iPhone models. In advance of the celebration in mid-February, a time-limited offer called a Lunar New Year event will run from January 18 to January 21. The latest iteration of Apple’s iPhone 15 series has not performed as well in China as previous iterations.
Apple hasn’t reduced the price of its most recent iPhone models in years. The unannounced September release of the iPhone 15 series, which took the market by surprise, is followed by the price cuts. Online merchants such as Pinduoduo have been offering price reductions of up to 16% on the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro since the beginning of the year.
According to Nicole Peng, senior vice president of market research firm Canalys, the discounts were expected given Apple’s urgency to increase sales worldwide, particularly in China, given the fiercer competition and the increasing resistance to updating among Apple enthusiasts.
